90% of wars have also taken place on arid areas, most notably the Middle East and Africa. Religion wasn't really the key factor, it was nomadic power, territorial disputes and- in the USA's case- oil + protecting Israel triggered by heat.
That's just plain not true. Pretty much the whole of humanity has been at war since it began. The longest EVER recorded period of peace is only about 300 years. That's for every nation state on the planet.
The longest known period of peace for the US is just 1806 to 1811. And that's modern times, the tribes and such that were there before it formed were WORSE at peace.
Japan is one of the BEST at 1639 to 1862, and that's only just over 200 years. Seriously, before you comment on history, it might be a good idea to learn some.
But most of those wars weren't triggered by religion. It's usually the Abrahamic ones waging them and they are held on either Europe, the middle East or both (Crusades as an example). Also poor choice of words, calling Japan's war "best".
