And what happens when stupid people outnumber the intelligent ones, is backed financially and politically by unscrupulous individuals or special interest groups, and a few of them went as far as to arm themselves and shoot anyone who disagrees with their stupidity?
Sometimes I think that everyone but me is completely nuts. This proves me wrong. I'm glad there are other people out there who can see that. And I'm glad that I'm not alone in thinking that. Although, I don't see what it has to do with atheism in particular; I'm fairly spiritual and I agree with him. Oh well. Just goes to show that atheists and non-atheists can get along pretty easily if we see each other as human beings and automatically assume that, since we are human beings, we are all stupid in some way. I'm glad you put this up here; it's making me think twice about humanity in general.
"In view of such harmony of the cosmos which I with my limited human mind, am able to recognize, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support of such views." Albert Einstein.
"When the answer is simple, God is speaking." Albert Einstein.
I have, and Einstein comes across as an Agnostic, not Atheist.
He said a lot of things, and brilliant a mind that he had, he did not know it all, and he showed that in things he said (like what I gave you) and even told atheists he did not like them using what he said to try and disprove God. He was a brilliant mind and was not that arrogant to say he knew it all.
And take a look at that quote you sent me, really ponder on it. To you it says one thing, to me it says another.
I did not really say you did. Sorry if it came across that way. I said that that was how I saw him, and many atheists I have spoken to try to claim him to be atheist. Which seems to be what he is talking about in one of the quotes I gave you of his.
