The Changing Face of Jesus by AAtheist The Changing Face of Jesus by AAtheist
If you like this kind of thing take a look at my facebook page at [link]

There is no physical description of Jesus in the gospels or the new testament letters, however when he was arrested Judas had to point him out to the soldiers, so it can be assumed he wasn't "funny lookin" or odd in any way.

This means that he would have been about 5ft1. Not the usual image you get of jesus is it?

As an interesting aside Sir Richard Burton was an English explorer who translated (actually, wrote -- that is, bowdlerized and invented) the first English language version of the the Kama Sutra

That's completely fair, but the point of the meme is that people have changed the face of Jesus to suit there own wants and desires over the centuries.

They all appear to depict the same JESUS CHRIST, THE LORD i LOVE and PRAISE.  Sure some features change, but you have to admit most remain and what does change appears to change back over time.  For those who haven't properly studied the culture and times of JESUS, it is understandable that we would fill in some characteristics with those that we are most familiar with.   GOD can look however HE wants, it's not the image that matters, it's the message and THE LORD HIMSELF.

I still think they all look like the same BEING, just made by different artists using different styles.  :)  You can also see how some, appear to have just been focusing on the art about half-way through, rather than focusing on THE LORD.  The eyes still all give the same feel, regardless of detail, style,  or color.

huh...there also appears to be a pattern going concerning basic facial features.

Oh Well, GOD LOVES You ALL.
And so do i.

I pray that you may at least have long prosperous lives if you will not accept THE HOLY AND DIVINE LORD'S MERCY And LOVE, but I do pray you may all come to See and Know Our FATHER In Heaven

:)

it's very easy to doubt something,  but Having FAITH takes EVERYTHING you got and then some.

I could quote scripture, but I'm not really qualified yet :)

Have a nice day <3

I think doubting is better than having faith, faith means you accept something despite there being no evidence, or even despite there being evidence to the contrary. Doubting means that you would like to have a reason to believe something before you accept it uncritically. It sounds to me like you're just trying to rationalize away the differences rather than admit them.

They are similar in that they are all human, and only one of them doesn't have a beard, but the very shape and structure changes with every one, making it more like the people where the art came from.
